I have always felt that there was enormous potential in creating an interesting highlight reel with this custom record player cabinet. This project consists entirely of Sapele wood, with an added bonus of cherry and walnut bow ties, as well as, custom music note inlays on the top, from a variety of different wood species.

New cherry and oak parallettes are finished! Each face has a Proton Woodworking logo with a different type of calisthenics movement on its top. Can you name all of the positions? • Stay tuned for a performance video!

This video depicts my latest handmade brush handle working in tandem with my latest handmade brush holder. Both pieces are created from solid walnut, along with other distinguishing characteristics such as brass and Wenge. Please enjoy the video!

The board top is made from solid cherry with a walnut and ash border, while the bow tie in the center is constructed from wood taken from an old Coney Island bench. As we cascade from the top, two drawers are placed as housing for the white and black pieces. The white pieces reside in the drawer with the white oak face and the black pieces reside in the drawer with the Wenge face. Both drawers are made using hand cut dovetails and each knob was hand turned. The corners of the middle section were given three decorative walnut splines!
